Some Background..

Compassionate Professionals on Global Mission (CPGM) was birthed in March 2007 by a small group of nurses and doctors with a passion for providing holistic care to local and international communities.  We desire to encourage healthcare professionals to serve the disadvantaged beyond their daily places of employment, and extend their healthcare to include not only physical care but also spiritual and emotional care.
CPGM's executive board includes a Nurse Midwife, Obstetrician/Gynecologist and a Registered Nurse with a pharmacy background.  The board and its members has served their local communities through health fairs, health education seminars, community projects and workplace health promotion efforts.  Two of its board members has more than five years of short term medical missions experience in countries including Ghana, Jamaica, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Zambia.
The CPGM executive board and its members each recognize the importance of fulfilling God's call and purpose in their career.  We endeavor to serve our local communities and extend our holistic mission internationally.  We pledge to act as consultants and partner with other organizations that share our mission and vision.  CPGM encourages healthcare professionals, lay professionals, businesses, individuals, and community partners with a Christian world-view to join us in this great work.  Please consider joining us if you are of a non-healthcare background.
We hope that reading this blog helps you to see our heart and forgive our flaws as we grow in our "walk with Him".  Enjoy as we share our experiences, mission, and vision for spreading holistic health care one person at a time.
